GENERAL SALES CONDITIONS
This website www.giftland.it is property of Giftland Snc with registered office at via Dante 4/F, 35020 Casalserugo (Pd) tax number and VAT number 04180320287 and registered in the Padova Register of Companies, Economic and Administrative Record PD-368404.
1) ORDERS
Only major people and resident in the European Union are entitled to buy. In order to purchase you have to register yourself by inserting all requested data in the proper form, which will appear automatically once you buy any article. The customer makes a purchase proposal by sending the order. All orders are subject to the final acceptance by our side: then we will send you an e-mail attesting the acceptance or the refusal of your order. Giftland Snc reserves itself the right to cancel any order thus excluding any right of the customer to a compensation or indemnity.
2) ORDER FULFILLMENT
Once you choose the objects from the on-line catalogue and you insert them in the shopping cart the order is executed. An automatic procedure will lead you to complete the order. Some information will be requested: shipping address, details to invoice, payment…
For each order a regular tax receipt is issued: the customer will receive it with the ordered article or, on customer’s request, by post/e-mail within 5 working days from the shipping date.
Should you need an invoice as company which has a VAT number, please kindly let us know.
The invoice/tax receipt has to be stored for fiscal purposes and as warrantee.
The customer has the right to cancel the order within the next working day by sending a written communication by fax @ +39 049 8861465 or via e-mail: assistenza@giftland.it
The confirmation/notification shall bear the order reference number, date, goods purchased, their price, delivery charges, the payment method chosen by the customer and a summary of the general conditions of sale. The customer should check the notification without delay and immediately inform Giftland of any errors or omissions.
The customer will always be informed via e-mail about the total or partial order fulfilment and delivery. The company is never responsible for any possible delay concerning the goods delivery.
3) PRICES
All prices are VAT (20%) included. Should you be a VAT exempt subject, kindly click on the proper box and insert your VAT number.

4) METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept:
- Bank Transfer
- Credit Card (PayPal)
In case of bank transfer and should you decide to speed up the shipment, we kindly ask you to send us either via fax (+39 049 8861465) or via mail (info@giftland.it) a copy of the notice of payment.
5) SHIPMENT COSTS AND TERMS
The goods is shipped via express courier. It takes 2/5 days (depending on the place) after the shipment.
Shipping costs include even the packaging and they vary from a minimum of Euro 9,00 up to Euro 32,00 according to the weight and size of the parcel. These costs can raise if the weight is over 15 kg or 150 cm as a sum of the 3 borders of the parcel: in this case, you will be immediately informed about the fees you have to pay.
Through the tracking service you can always supervise the shipment of the requested object. In case of repeated delivery fail, the article will be returned to the sender (Giftland Snc) and the shipping costs will be charged to the customer.
Should you decide to assure the shipment, the goods travel at your own risk, therefore all possible damages occurred during the transport could not be charged to Giftland Snc.
6) GOODS RECEIPT
Any damage to the package and/or goods, or the non correspondence of the number of packages or information, must be immediately contested, attaching a written reservation to the courier’s proof of receipt. Once the courier’s document has been signed, the customer may not object in any way in relation to the external qualities of what is delivered.
7) TAKE-BACK CLAUSE
On-line purchase belongs to “at distance” contracts and are governed by D.Lgs. 206/05.
The customer, if consumer (a natural person who purchases goods for reasons unrelated to the business or professional activity which may be carried on by him/her, or who purchases without indicating a VAT registration number in the order form) has the right to recede from “at distance” contract, without needing to provide an explanation, within 10 working days from the goods receipt. The customer will only has to pay the transport fees.
The customer can exercise the right of termination by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to be sent to:

The same communication can be sent via fax, mail or telegram, on condition that it is confirmed by registered letter within 48 hours.
Within 15 working days from the goods receipt, the customer has to send it back to: Giftland Snc, Via Dante 4/F, 35020 Casalserugo (PD).
The goods must be returned undamaged in the original packaging, complete in all its parts (including all accessory equipment) Shipping costs are at customer’s charge.
Until the goods arrives to our warehouse, the customer is totally responsible for the shipment: should the goods has to be damaged during the transport, Giftland Snc will give you a written communication
In the event of the returned goods not being basically intact, the right of termination lapses, as, by way of example, in the case of:
- lack of the original external packaging and/or internal packaging;
- absence of integral parts of the goods (accessories, cables, manuals, parts, …);
- damage to the goods due to causes other than transport
In the event of the customer’s lapse in relation to the right of termination, Giftland shall provide for returning the purchased goods to the customer, charging the forwarding fees to the same.
Reimbursement shall occur by bank transfer, to the current account indicated by the customer within the term of thirty days of receipt by Giftland of the registered termination letter.
8) GUARANTEE
All goods sold by Giftland Snc are covered by the producer’s ostensible guarantee of the producer and by the 24 months warranty for default of compliance according to D.L. 24/02. This warranty is reserved to customers who are consumers (a natural person who purchases goods for reasons unrelated to the business or professional activity which may be carried on by him/her, or who purchases without indicating a VAT registration number in the order form). To benefit from the guarantee service, the customer must keep the invoice/tax receipt which he/she has received.
Should the product be defective within 10 ten working days from the date of receipt, shipping costs are at our charge. The customer must notify Giftland to this regard by sending us an e-mail to assistenza@giftland.it or a fax to +39 049 8861465.
It will be our care to send a courier to take back and replace the goods.
After the 10 working days deadline and for all guarantee time, the forwarding charges to return the goods are charged to the customer.

10) FINAL NORMS
All contracts are regulated by these sales conditions which are part and parcel of all purchase orders. The sales conditions we apply to each order are those in force at the issue date of the purchase order. All contracts resolved with Giftland Snc are intended as perfected in Italy and are submitted to Italian laws.
The contract of sale between the customer and Giftland is governed by Italian law. For civil cases concerning contracts of sale between a customer and Giftland, entered into by means of the website, if the customer is a consumer, local jurisdiction resides indispensably with the Magistrate at the customer’s place of residence or domicile, if situated in Italy.
